Certified Clinical Medical Assistant OR Licensed Practical Nurse —

Work Care (Occupational Health)

Department: Occupational Health

Hours: approximately 36-40 hours per week; 12-hour shifts; open 7 days per week

Available: immediately

Job Duties:

Combined duties between medical care and occupational health.
Rooming patients.
Obtaining patient vitals & medical history.
Phlebotomy and other minor laboratory and medical testing.
Injections/vaccinations.
Drug Screens/ Breath Alcohol Testing/ Pulmonary Function Testing/ Mask Fitting, etc.
Spirometry/Audiometry.
Assisting with physical examinations.
Monitoring, cleaning, stocking examination rooms.
Electronic charting/documentation.
Clerical functions.
Other duties as necessary or assigned.

Licensed Practical Nurse is preferred for this position.

Requirements:

Current/active Kentucky Licensed Practical Nurse.

If not L.P.N. then Registration or Certification in Clinical Medical Assisting is required.

Proficient computer skills.

Previous work experience within a medical office setting highly preferred.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to remain organized while multi-tasking in fast-paced environment.

High focus on quality patient care/customer service.

Valid Kentucky driver’s license.
