RMA or CCMA — Urology

Department: Urology

Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8am-4:30 or 5pm

Available: immediately

Job Duties:

This position is a Floater within the department of Urology and will involve clinical as well as various clerical functions of patient care.
Rooming patients
Obtaining vitals and patient histories
Assisting physician and providers with procedures and exams
May require floating within the department as necessary
Monitoring, cleaning, and stocking patient exam rooms
Ordering supplies
Electronic charting

Telephone interactions
Pre-certifications/pre-authorizations
Scheduling
Other duties as assigned/needed

Requirements:

Must hold current/active Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant credential (qualifications to perform order entries)

Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills
Previous medical office experience highly desirable, preferably within the specialty of Urology
Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Multi-tasking skills within fast-paced environment
Teamwork approach
Patient Registration experience very helpful
