Dr. Monardo joined the Gastroenterology Department of Graves Gilbert Clinic in August 2023. She completed her bachelor degree in Nutrition Science and biology at Purdue University. She then received her D.O. at Kansas City University, and went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology through Michigan State University.
During her residency and fellowship training, she authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented research at numerous national conferences. During her fellowship, Dr. Monardo served as a clinical instructor for the department of medicine at Michigan State University and served as chief fellow of gastroenterology.
In addition to caring for general gastrointestinal and liver diseases, she has special interests in Neurogastroenterology and motility disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Monardo spends time with family, enjoys the outdoors, and travels often.
