Diana Wooden, DNP, APRN, FNP-C has endeavored to improve the health and wellness of her patients from newborn to geriatric for over 25 years!

Diana is an experienced Provider specializing in pediatrics, women’s health, and chronic disease management. She enjoys providing care for newborns to geriatrics! At GGC she offers well child exams, sports physicals, school physicals, annual adult visits, sick visits, and chronic disease management. Prior to starting her career as an APRN, she served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps, caring for high -risk prenatal patients, newborns, and medical-surgical patients.

Diana was on Faculty at Western Kentucky University for 8 years, and Faculty at Lafayette School of Nursing in Williamsburg, Virginia for 5 years. Her passion for Nursing led her to travel to care for Alaskan Natives in Anchorage, and to Scotland to mentor and train nursing students in a study abroad. She prides herself as pioneering the Air Force’s first “First Time Parents Program” and “Teen Health Fair” at Holloman AFB in New Mexico.

Diana is a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Diana currently resides in Franklin, KY and In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling.
