Graves Gilbert Clinic’s Urology Department is proud to announce the opening of their Office Surgical Suite. Limited procedures can now be performed in the comfort and convenience of an outpatient setting. The Urology Department received accreditation from the American Association of Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF Accreditation) on August 9th, 2016.

Our Office Surgical Suite meets the standards of a Class C-M ambulatory surgery facility. The Urology Department will now be able to perform surgical procedures under intravenous Propofol or six other class distinctions of anesthesia. The Urology Department features a procedure/recovery suite that is a cost saving option to an outpatient hospital occurrence, but with the same high standards of an operating room.

Graves Gilbert Clinic Urology is happy to be home to Dr. Mark Bigler, Dr. David Bergamini, Dr. Matthew Rutter, Dr. Samer Kalakish, Lauren Myrick APRN and Robin McCoy, APRN. The Urology Department physicians’ decision to obtain accreditation was out of a desire to better take care of our Graves Gilbert Clinic patients during every step of their experience with our practice. The accreditation allows the Urologists and staff to better focus on their core tenets of safety, quality, and service.
