Dance Big Red 2022

The Eighth Annual Dance Big Red student-led dance fundraising event at Western Kentucky University will be held April 1, 2022. This past March, over 400 students participated in our virtual event raising over $45,000. We look forward to doubling our attendees for an event in 2022 and surpassing our fundraising goal to support the children at Norton Children’s Hospital!
Since it began, Dance Big Red has raised more than $400,000 for pediatric cardiovascular services and adolescent cancer care at Norton Children’s Hospital. A total of four high schools pulled together to host Warren County Public Schools Dance Little Red contributing to the overall success and growth of Dance Big Red. Join our efforts by participating as a dancer, making a donation, and/or becoming an event sponsor today!
Important Details
The overall goal for Dance Big Red 2022 is to raise $60,000 and recruit 700 dancers. All Western Kentucky University students, faculty and staff are invited to participate as a DANCER.
Date: Friday, April 1, 2022
Time: 6 p.m. to midnight CDT (subject to change)
Location: Houchens Industries – L.T. Smith Stadium (subject to change)
Registration Fee: $14 per person, tax included (WKU ID required to participate as a dancer)
NEW & EXCITING for 2022 – we will host Dance Little Red & Community Hour from 7-8 p.m. CDT along with WKU Athletes Hour, we welcome our special guests to watch from above on the concourse level to cheer on the dancers. This portion will be no cost to attend, but we will be inviting all attendees to make a donation at the gate.
