Bio:

Karyn grew up near Bowling Green, KY. She graduated magna cum laude from Western Kentucky University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Biophysics. In 2012, Karyn graduated magna cum laude with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky. Upon graduation, she returned to Bowling Green and joined Graves Gilbert Clinic Physical Therapy. Karyn has received additional training in dry needling, Graston technique ( an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique- more information at www.grastontechnique.com), custom molded orthotics, and vestibular rehabilitation. She also utilizes the clinics AlterG anti-gravity treadmill and the Biodex balance system with patients to improve their therapy outcomes. Karyn enjoys working with all patients and treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, specifically the spine and knee, as well as vestibular dysfunction. She and her husband Kyle have two children, Kynleigh and Gavin.
