GRAVES GILBERT CLINIC ANNOUNCES 2025 DRIVE-THRU FLU CLINICS
Bowling Green, KY | September 4, 2025 — Flu season can hit fast and hard, but prevention is simple: get vaccinated early. Graves Gilbert Clinic is making it quick, easy, and accessible for adults ages 19 and up with convenient drive-thru flu clinics this fall. Just drive in, roll up your sleeve, and take an important step toward a healthier fall and winter.
“Vaccination is a small action with a big impact—it’s one of the easiest ways to protect yourself, your family, and your community,” said Dr. Thomas Sternberg, Allergy and Immunology specialist at GGC. “The CDC recommends early, yearly flu vaccination, ideally beginning in September.”
The benefits are clear: studies show that flu vaccination can reduce ICU admissions for adults with influenza by 82%, and in children, reduce severe, life-threatening influenza by 75%.
In addition to getting your flu shot, Dr. Sternberg reminds the community that prevention starts with simple, everyday actions:

- Maintain a healthy lifestyle to strengthen your immune system

The drive-thru clinics are Monday through Friday – no appointment is required. Most insurance plans cover the cost, and patients should bring their ID and insurance card.
