Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Duval earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Georgia Institute of Technology before going on to receive her Doctorate of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine. She completed her urology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, Anthony, as well as their dogs Cleo, Lady, and Commander. She spends her free time riding her horse Romeo, hiking, scuba diving, and working around their farm.
