Amelia J. Anderson-Mooney, Ph.D.
Graves Gilbert Clinic is proud to welcome Amelia J. Anderson-Mooney, PhD to our Neurosurgery Department.
She attended Seattle Pacific University where she received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology and went on to complete a clinical psychology internship at Colmery-O’Neil Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the VA Eastern Kansas Healthcare System. Afterwards, she completed a 2-year clinical neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Anderson-Mooney is a clinical neuropsychologist who performs neurocognitive evaluations to assess disorders of higher cognitive functioning, including disorders affecting memory, language, visuospatial functions, praxis, and executive functions. She specializes in neurodegenerative disorders of aging, traumatic brain injury, stroke and vascular cognitive impairment, neuromedical disorders/general medical disorders affecting cognition, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and the neurocognition of Deep Brain Stimulation surgery.
Dr. Anderson-Mooney is joining Dr. Todd Shanks in our Neurosurgery Department at our Graves Gilbert Clinic WKONA location and is a welcomed addition to the team.
