DESCRIPTION:Graves Gilbert Clinic is proud to be the Children’s One Mile GLOW RUN & Mini Marathon Challenge sponsor. \n\n\nRace Website\nAdditional race information can be found at https://www.familyenrichmentcenter.com/runwalk. \n\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nFriday\, March 22nd: 5-8 PM\nFamily Wellness Expo\nPasta/Pizza Party\nKids One-Mile GLOW RUN (Starts at 7 PM)\nThe Family Wellness Expo is free to attend and open to all community members. The Expo will feature wellness vendors as well as family/child-centered organizations from the community. If you or your organization is interested in being a vendor email info@familyenrichmentcenter.com. \nThis year\, in order to encourage kids to stay active we will be hosting a FREE Kids GLOW RUN and Mini Marathon Challenge. Kids grades 6th and under are encouraged to download our Mileage Tracker and complete 12 miles of walking/running/dancing/skipping before the GLOW RUN on Friday\, March 22nd. Kids will turn in their Mileage Tracker at check-in and upon completing the GLOW RUN will have finished 13 miles\, or a “mini” marathon! Kids who turn in a completed Mileage Tracker will also receive a special medal for the Mini Marathon Challenge in addition to the GLOW RUN medal. Kids DO NOT have to participate in the Mini Marathon in order to do the GLOW RUN. Register your child for the GLOW RUN here. \nSaturday\, March 23rd: 8-11 AM\nRoads into the park close at 7:45AM!\nHalf Marathon (8 AM)\n5K Run (8:15 AM)\n5K Fun Walk (8:15 AM)\nHalf Marathon\, 5K Run and 5K walk participants will receive a complimentary ticket to the pre-race Pizza/Pasta Party. Additional tickets may be purchased at the door for $5 each. Participants will also receive a finisher’s medal for their category and a race shirt. Half Marathon and 5K Run participants will be eligible for age-category awards and be chip-timed by Bluegrass Timing. \n*SHIRT UPGRADE! This year our Half Marathon and 5K Run participants will receive a dri-fit\, Sport-Tek long sleeve shirt. 5K Walk participants may upgrade from the cotton shirt to the Sport-Tek shirt for $10. \nRace fees are NON-REFUNDABLE BUT MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER PERSON AND/OR EVENT (Event UPGRADES will result in additional fees).  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlace\nEphram White Park\n885 Mt Olivet Rd\nBowling Green\, KY US 42101

SUMMARY:Run & Walk for Children
DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar and begin training for the 27th Annual Family Enrichment Center Run and Walk for Children to be held on Saturday\, March 25\, 2023. Funds from this event support child abuse prevention services in South Central Kentucky. \nThere are three race categories to choose from: Half Marathon (13.1 miles)\, 5K Run\, 5K Fun Walk (3.1 miles each). The Half Marathon and 5K Run will be chip-timed by Bluegrass Timing. All participants will receive a long-sleeve race shirt and finishers medal. Participants that register before the Early-Bird Deadline (2.11.23) will also receive a complimentary ticket to the pre-race Pasta Party schedule for Friday\, March 24th at the Ephram White gymnasium from 5-7 PM. Pasta Party meal tickets may be purchased for $7 each for those registering after the deadline or in need of additional tickets for non-participants. \nThis year our children’s race\, the Kids 100 Yard Dash\, will be held in conjunction with our Pasta Party and Family Wellness Expo to better allow family members to cheer on their young runner. Registration for the Kids Dash is FREE until the Early-Bird Deadline and $10 thereafter. Participants will receive a finisher’s medal and race shirt (while supplies last)! Please note\, kids sizes are limited and only available while supplies last. Size requests will be honored first come\, first serve based on registration date. \nThe Family Wellness Expo is free to attend and open to all community members. The Expo will feature wellness vendors as well as family/child-centered organizations from the community.
