SUMMARY:RailPark Rendezvous Annual Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:RAILPARK RENDEZVOUS \nANNUAL FUNDRAISER FOR THE RAILPARK \nRailPark Rendezvous presented by Graves Gilbert Clinic returns on September 15th for the 2nd year as the signature fundraising event for the nonprofit Historic RailPark & Train Museum. The inaugural event held last year\, highlighted the release of the final phase in a 3-part exhibit “Railroads Go To War.” This year the theme is Circus Circus in celebration of the release of the museum newest exhibit\, Circus Trains\, which will be revealed for the first time to the \nRendezvous attendees. \nAttendees will enjoy cocktail hour beginning at 6pm with several circus-themed drinks. This is a 21+ and up event. At 7pm the dinner buffet opens\, and the live entertainment begins! Beyond Wings\, out of Nashville TN will put on a show to remember with live circus performers including stilt walkers\, a lyra artist\, singing\, and even fire breathing. Tickets to this event are open now and can be purchased individually\, table of 8\, and as a corporate table of 8. Sponsorship opportunities for your business are still available. If you would like to know more about supporting the RailPark through sponsorship\, please contact Jessica Warren\, Development Officer at 270-745-7317 or by email at jwarren@historicrailpark.com. \nProceeds from the event will be used to help fund the continued preservation of the historic L&N Depot building and the 8 vintage railcars that are housed at the RailPark. Funding from events like the Rendezvous are critical to the continued operation on the nonprofit to allow our staff and volunteer the resources needed. In January of this year\, we announced a year-long fundraising campaign to raise money for various projects including $30\,000 for architect fees to plan and design a future train cover. To date we have raised $27\,000 of the $30\,000 needed.
