SUMMARY:PossAbilties Expo 2022
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe PossAbilities Expo (Formerly known as the Special Needs Expo) celebrates people with disabilities and the resources in our community.  It is a chance for individuals and families with disabilities in the BRADD area (Allen\, Barren\, Butler\, Edmonson\, Hart\, Logan\, Metcalfe\, Monroe\, Simpson\, and Warren counties) and BEYOND to experience a day of fun\, excitement\, and learning. \nOur goal in hosting this event is three-fold. \nPROVIDE INFORMATION \nWith the many resources available to families\, it is possible that there are some services that families are unaware of. We want to offer an event where families can learn new things about the community and what we have to offer individuals with disabilities. We want to provide a fun atmosphere where children and families can speak face-to-face with various agencies that may be able to meet their needs. We envision an event that is characterized by cooperation\, not competition so families see that we are working together to provide the best services possible for their children. \n​ \n​ \nINSPIRE HOPE \nWe want to inspire hope for families through each phase of life by helping them see that they are not alone\, and that not only can they survive challenges facing their families\, but that they can thrive. \n​ \n​ \nEMPOWER FAMILIES \nBy providing information and inspiring hope\, we want to empower families to make the best choices for themselves and their children. We want them to be confident in their ability to plan for their future and provide the best care for their children.

SUMMARY:2022 Women's Leadership Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Leadership Conference was created to provide a space for women of all ages and stages in their careers and to gather for a day of empowering and motivational speakers.  Ladies will be able to network\, visit and shop with local vendors and hear from local\, regional\, and national speakers. Each participant will also receive a book of their choosing from the Keynote Speaker and a gift bag with items from event sponsors and vendors to take home. \nThe goal is to have attendees leave feeling empowered to take control of their own personal and professional success\, to feel enlightened by the stories and the speakers and the other women around them\, and to be engaged in the Chamber\, community\, and the workplace. \nWE3 = Empower\, Enlighten\, & Engage

SUMMARY:SOKY Book Fest
DESCRIPTION:Southern Kentucky Book Fest is one of the state’s largest literary events and is presented by Barnes & Noble Booksellers\, Warren County Public Library\, and WKU Libraries. Held annually\, the Book Fest draws thousands of readers of all ages who welcome the occasion to meet their favorite authors and purchase signed copies of their books. \nThe 2022 SOKY Book Fest will be our 23rd and is a fundraiser for the promotion of literacy in our community. The event is free and open to the public. Please note that all books signed at SOKY Book Fest must be purchased at the festival. No previously purchased books are allowed to be signed.
