Dr. Gearlds earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology / Cellular Physiology and earned her Masters of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Louisville. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY and completed her residency at the University of Kentucky.
She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering for medical missions in Guatemala.
